Details about the Cuddle Wrap
First, the price: $35. Here's how it breaks down: It costs $15 just for the material, and then it takes about two hours to make. $10 per hour for the work times two hours is $20 plus the $15 for material, which comes to $35. I think that's fair. :) (The cheapest reversible wrap on Etsy is $60.)
The Cuddle Wrap is approximately 5.5 yards long, made of 100% cotton interlock, so it's light, sturdy and has a bit of a stretch for comfort.
The pros and cons of the Cuddle Wrap:
Cons:
-It's a lot of material.
-It takes a little longer to put on compared to a baby bjorn, ergo baby, mei tai or sling ring.
Pros:
-It's soft and very comfy! The wrap is the most comfortable baby carrier I've worn. It's my fifth baby carrier, so I know!
-The weight is distributed evenly between the shoulders and hips (unlike the baby bjorn).
-It's versatile! You can even wear your baby on your front facing foward (unlike the ergo baby or mei tai).
-It's cute! Same idea as the Moby Wrap, but with a cute front panel.
-It's reversible, so you can change the look without getting another wrap!
-You can nurse in it - without anyone even realizing it.
-You can wear your baby on your front facing in, hip and back as well.
-You don't have to wait until they're a certain age. It's newborn-ready.
If you're a mom, a dad, a nanny, or have a friend/sister having a baby, you'll absolutely love the Cuddle Wrap! You can choose from what I all ready have made, or you can custom order your two fabrics. Just let me know, and I can usually get it made within 48 hours.
I also make Cuddle Wraps for little girls to carry their dolls around in!!! And I can make matching purses/wet bags for diapers and such.
